At this year’s flagship conference, our 12 research teams from Athens, Bruges, and London presented their work and engaged with experts in their respective fields, from COVID-19 to climate, innovation, and immigration. Over the past year, they have investigated asylum provisions during the pandemic, the use of civic education to combat populism, the impact of local climate emergency declarations, and the role of predictive analysis for data-driven innovation, among others. The conference brought together different disciplines, methodologies, national contexts, and themes, united by a common focus on evidence-based policy innovation.

In the Europe for all? panel, presentation of the first results of 89Belgium Programme “Regions”, in collaboration with Collège d’Europe, directed by Daniele Ietri.
